Who is responsible
Neovek is responsible for the personal information collected on neovek.com. For any question, or to reach the person in charge of the protection of personal information: [email protected].
What we collect
Contact form. Your name, your email and your message, only if you write to us. They are used only to reply to you.
Audience measurement. We use Umami, hosted on our own servers in Canada, to count page views. Umami sets no cookie. It uses your IP address to estimate your country and city and, together with your browser's user agent, to compute a visit identifier that changes every month; it does not keep your IP address.
Bot protection. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which analyzes technical signals from your browser to tell a person from a bot.
Sending limit. To limit abuse, the form service keeps your IP address in memory for about an hour, without recording it.
Technical logs. Our server logs the pages requested (date, page, response code), without your IP address, for security and troubleshooting.
Who has access to your information
Only Neovek's person in charge of the protection of personal information reads the messages received at [email protected].
Service providers
Cloudflare routes and protects the site, and provides Turnstile. It processes your IP address and technical signals from your browser, to deliver pages securely and tell a person from a bot.
Namecheap Private Email hosts the [email protected] mailbox (name, email, message).
These providers may process this information outside Québec.
Where your information goes
Your message is sent by email to the [email protected] mailbox, hosted by Namecheap Private Email. We do not sell or rent your information.
How long we keep it
We keep our exchanges as long as needed to reply and follow up, at most 24 months after the last exchange, then we delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information by writing to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.
You can write to us directly at [email protected] instead of using the form.
If our answer does not satisfy you, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
YouTube videos
The YouTube videos in our articles load only if you click to play them. YouTube may then collect data under its own policy.
